Mukdoni (Kappel), Alexander
(1877-1958)
   American Yiddish essayist and theatre critic. He was born in Lyakhovichi in Belorussia. After World War I he edited the Yiddish daily Nayes produced in Kovno. In 1922 he settled in the US, where he wrote for the Yiddish daily Jewish Morning Journal.
